Hanimaadhoo International Airport

Has one runway designated 03/21 with an asphalt surface measuring 1,220 by 30 metres (4,003 ft × 98 ft)

It was upgraded to an international airport on 2 February 2012.

IATA: HAQ, ICAO: VRMH.

Maafaru International Airport

Has one runway featuring a 2,200-meter runway that can handle commercial aircraft the size of Airbus A320s and the Boeing 737s.

It was officially opened on 1 December 2019

Velana International Airport

The airport has three terminals: the International Terminal, the Domestic Terminal and the waterdrome Seaplane Terminal.

Has two runways, first runway was 75 ft × 3,000 ft (23 m × 914 m. On 18 September 2018, the airport finished its second runway with 3,400 metres (11,155 ft) long and 60 metres (197 ft) wide, built to serve larger aircrafts

Hulhulé Airport was opened on 19 October 1960

Maamigili International Airport

It has one runway designated 09/27 with a concrete surface measuring 1,800 by 30 metres (5,906 ft × 98 ft)

The airport opened on October 1, 2011 as a domestic airport. In 2013, it was upgraded to international airport standards.

Gan International Airport

It hs one runway which was subsequently upgraded and extended in length by 980 metres (3,215 feet) to a total 3,600 by 45 metres (11,811 by 148 feet)

First built by the Royal Navy subsequently known as RAF Gan. It was a British military airbase, used as a staging post for RAF aircraft transiting to the Far East during World War II, until 1976. The first aircraft, an RAF Westland Walrus biplane landed on the crushed coral runway of Gan on 8 February 1943.
